Slip and Slide
Its interesting to me to see that I can be so strong one day and really think that I am very spiritual, and then in a day or less slide away. The enemy, flesh find it so easy to turn and do what I ultimately know is not right. I cant stand it. Its like when Paul said "I do the things I dont want to do and the things I want to do I don't" Well for many of us we stop there and say a big yes with Paul. We however forget that there is victory but it is only in Christ not ourselves. Jesus tells us that with our him we can do nothing. So do I really want to depend of Christ day in and day out moment by moment to life the christian life. God help me say and do yes

I know exactly what you are saying. I know these things too well and I write the remedies to them for others. If I may pass a piece of advice to you, make a concerted effort to live for The Lord and when you fall, get up and keep heading toward The Lord. Holiness is not a life of perfection. It is a life of consistancy. Be more consistant at seeking The Lord than anything else. By the way, in case you never read anything I publish on my blog, (I write about our relationship with God) our relationship with The Lord, largely depends on our relationships with oneanother. I'll be posting a chapter that discusses this topic, this Sunday.
